The Power of the Rosary

Prayer needs to be infused to every aspect of life and as does meditating upon the Gospel. Putting them both together we find the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary with its mysteries (Joyful, Sorrowful, Luminous, and Glorious). By meditating on the mysteries, we continuously meditate upon the birth, life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Without going so in-depth, I want to encourage you to pray the Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary. But, don’t take my word for it, listen to the Saints who have had life altering experiences with the devotion/prayer.

The Rosary is a prayer both so humble and simple and a theologically rich in Biblical content. I beg you to pray it. ~ St. Poper John Paul II

The Rosary is the scourge of the devil. ~ Pope Adrian VI

When people love and recite the Rosary they find it makes them better.~ St. Anthony Mary Claret

By its nature the recitation of the Rosary calls for a quiet rhythm and a lingering pace, helping the individual to meditate on the mysteries of the Lord’s life as seen through the eyes of her who was closest to the Lord. In this way the unfathomable riches of these mysteries are unfolded. Pope Paul VI

If you say the Holy Rosary every day, with a spirit of faith and love, our Lady will make sure she leads you very far along her Son’s path. ~ St. Josemaria Escriva

Never will anyone who says his Rosary every day will be led astray. This is a statement that I would gladly sign in my blood. ~ St. Louis de Montfort

Give me an army saying the Rosary and I will conquer the world. ~ Blessed Pope Pius IX

The Rosary is the best therapy for these distraught, unhappy, fearful, and frustrated souls, precisely because it involves the simultaneous use of three powers: the physical, the vocal, and the spiritual. ~ Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen

Love the Madonna and pray the Rosary, for her Rosary is the weapon against the evils of the world today. All graces given by God pass through the Blessed Mother. ~ St. Padre Pio

Thank you for sharing this post! I have been praying the rosary regularly for about ten years now. Our Blessed Mother has led me closer to Jesus, and prayers are being answered. The meditations open my heart to the love of God, and I have been blessed with so many graces.

I just finished reading “The Miraculous Medal The Pendant of Power.” Have you read it? I believe you would love it❤️

Thank you Bernadette! I have not read that but I am excited to, I am adding it to my reading list. I am currently working through Habits of Holiness which is a book I’d recommend in return.
